Why am I seeing number 11 everywhere? Part one
My most popular post by far is about the angelic meaning of number 11. I regularly receive correspondence from regular readers and visitors to this blog who are freaking out about the frequent occurrence of the number 11 in their lives. So by popular demand I bring you some more information on being stalked by the number 11. 
Awareness
I strongly suspect the number has been around you for a long time before you realised it and the noticing of it is more about the raising of your consciousness. When I “woke up” to the constant appearance of 11 in my life, it was at a time when I was flowing with life. Synchronocity abounded left, right and centre and there was a beatiful magaical quality to my life. I realised that I always seemed to notice the time of 11:11 on digital displays and various number combinations around 11. I contacted a metaphysical friend and asked her if she knew anything about this, as I felt it could mean something. She texted me back “Well done for noticing Miss Fayemi, the angels are communicating with you”. Straight away it felt right, there was definitely some extra help and guidance around.
In my experience, as your vibration raises so does your awareness. There is a level of vibration that aligns you to receive and notice angelic guidance. So, chances are you will notice the numbers and guess they have a higher meaning following a raising of vibration. What happened in your life that has successfully expanded your comfort zone and raised your vibration?
What are angels?
Angels are God’s messengers, beings of light. They guide you on your path of love and light, the two greatest forces in the Universe. There are loads of angels and they govern all manner of things like days of the week, elements, animals, plants, trees etc. They do not intrude on your life unless asked and once asked their subtle energy gets to work on your request. There is no right or wrong with the angels, they are not judgemental and bring love and it is a very personal relationship you will have with them.Â
Angel communication
When you become aware of the angel communication, communicate back and allow the beautiful energy more fully into your life. To invoke (call upon) an angel, call the angel’s name three times, make your request or ask for guidance and ask in love and light, love and light, love and light.Â
Welcoming angels into your life increases miracles and synchronicity and brings more love into your life. Angels offer delightful spiritual guidance and growth. The frequency of 11 and other numbers in your life increases and you will start to discover other methods of communication. These could include a feeling of cool air like a draught, numb tongue, tingling sensations in your body, feelings of warmth, feeling full of love, emotional intensity like crying, feeling of being moved emotionally etc.Â
What to do
First off congratulate yourself for being in the consciousness of receiving angel communication. You may have a gateway to faster manifestations, so watch what you thoughts you are having.  It is a good idea to use affirmations and particularly say them when you see the numbers.Â
Find out more about angels and strengthen your relationship with them. Deepen and trust your intuiton as this is where a majority of the communication takes place. Think about it, it was your intuition that made you aware there may be more to these numbers than meets the eye, otherwise you would have put it down to coincidence.Â
Get some angel cards and learn and communicate with them more. Angela McGerr’s Gold and Silver are a great set to start with.Â
Invoke them during meditation. Once you learn about the different angels and their roles, invoke the relevant ones for support and guidance during meditation.Â
There are loads of books on angels out there and a good starting point is Angels 101 by Doreen Virtue, however my personal favourite angel author is Angela McGerr.
This is a great and exciting time and there is absolutely nothing to worry about. You are more open to forces outside what we can see and touch and are intensifying your connection to the Source of all - God. More information to come in part two - watch this space.

My husband & I have been seeing 11’s for a few years now & it’s still happening even now, I was starting to wonder whether it meant anything. It’s not just on the clock but on the microwave, video, receipts, etc, where we would see the number 11 somewhere - we thought it had to be coincidence! My birthday is also on 1/11 which may or may not be significant…

I’m a firm believer that if you think it means something, it does. It’s your intuition giving you a nudge and your rational mind second guessing it.
I don’t believe in coincidence but synchronicity, which is a form of communication from the Universe. What it is communicating is for you to work out as it’s a personal journey. Deep down what do you know?
If you don’t know, ask the angels, they’re probably trying to get your attention.
I have birthday envy, I wouldn’t mind 1/11 but have 1/15 instead so welcome fellow Capricorn.

Hi Lola, I have been seeing 11 for maybe four years now. It started as 9:11 on the clock then turned into just 11 after the hour on the clock. Now, I see 10 after the hour followed by 11! And somtimes this can go on all day. Now those numbers follow me even on amounts on receipts and even when i’m watching a movie! I’ts crazy. I have read a bit about the number 11 meaning and your take on it is much appreciated by me. Recently, I have been more aware of the presence of my angels. But what does the number 10 mean? And now I am beginning to see my birthdate come up too-the month and year. If you can give me further information on this, please do.

Hey Lola, I have been seeing the number 11 everywhere for more than a year now, and I started to get freaked out by it. So I figured I would ignore it, but then I started seeing it more after trying to ignore it. I came across this website and it makes so much sense because I have been communicating with my angels for a very long time.

Shayna - I’m glad you have found this site useful.
Janet - You do not have to be a “spiritual person” to see the numbers. Whether you acknowledge it or not there are forces at work that we cannot see or touch, if you believe in more than you can see then you could be classed as spiritual. When you ask “why me?” I would reply that somewhere within you is the answer. The angels are trying to get your attention for some reason. How happy are you with your life? as Xavia i also started seeing 9:11 on digital clocks for a while then went on to see 11 minutes past the hour a different times of the day. since reading the meaning to this and the replys of others who also see the number 11 frequently (especially Xavia who then started to see 10 as well as 11 mins past the hour) i then started to see this also and would love to no if we are connected in some way and why this is happening. is there anyone who i can speak to personnally about this.

I have been seeing 11:11, I know since I was like 12yrs. old and I am 39yrs. old now. And still seeing it everyday. The really cool thing is that I had TWINS… girl and boy born on?????? oh, 11/11. That was not a mistake, I’m sure. Also 2:22, 4:44 they are the most common. My daughter sees 9:11. Check out “Sacred Geometry”, its said that 11:11 is a “DNA Trigger” to Spirtiually Awakening” in this life time to are Divine Self.

WOW - the birthdate of your twins is no coincidence. I agree that 111.11 is a trigger for spiritual awakening indeed and also to watch our thoughts as they hold the clues to your awakening. It definitely signifies changes in your life patterns and a raising of your vibration.

anybody given any thought to why 11? i had been experiencing overwhelming instances of synchronicity in other areas when i started noticing the elevens. i am an active member of aa and until someone at a meeting referred me to your site i had decided i was being directed by higher power(s) to focus on step 11 of the twelve steps and to get serious about meditating. having browsed your site im not sure what to think. which brings me to my current vein of thought: if energy of some sort is necessarily expended on the “other side” to send these “messeges” and get our attention wouldn’t transmission of the numeral “11″ be the most “cost effective”? just two small strokes - no loops as in “8″ or “9″ etc. and the number “1″ alone probably just wouldn’t cut it.

These messages are personal to us, although we may all see regular occurances of 11 and there are meanings behind it, it all comes down to the personal meanings for us. A bit like starsigns, Pisceans are known for their dreamy nature but this can come out as creativity, head in the clouds, imaginative, visionary, ungrounded, limitless etc, all stem from some kind of dreamy nature but different interpretations of it.
I’m a big believer that if you feel something means something it probably does, so if you feel that you would benefit from focussing on step 11 then go with that. There are also levels of meaning so step 11 of the recovery plan may be one level but there may be more. Generally speaking, 11 is about self-discovery.
Your evaluation that 11 is easy to transmit from “the other side” is interesting. Personally, I think that if we place our human judgements on it then it is a possibility, however in the spiritual realm I guess 11 is as easy to communicate as 123456789 or any other number.
For now though, be aware of what’s going through your mind when you see the numbers and see what paterns you can spot. “Watch your thoughts” can be for a number of reasons.
