   I have seen the number 11 everywhere at various times in my life and always took it as a bizarre coincidence, nothing more. However in the last 9 or so months, since trying to conceive, it has become really intense and not just 11, but multiples of, in particular 22 and 33. Since during this time I have not fallen pregnant, I started taking 11 as a bad sign, that something was trying to tell me it wasn’t going to happen. I cursed it every month for torturing me. Thank you for opening me to the fact that maybe it is a sign of encouragement, that maybe something might actually be pushing me along the right path. I have hope!

   Hi Lola, since the age of 17 I distinctly remember suddenly being inundated with the presence of 1:11 or 11:11 in my life. I am now 33. I see it on a daily basis often 2-3 times a day, i.e. Twice today.

   I started to become aware that what I was being presented with was spiritual guidance, yet I never quite understood the message. Your explanation of the number 1 really hits home for me. From as early 13yrs I had suffered from an anxiety disorder which became debilitating severely affecting my ability to enjoy life. My anxiety disorder lead to depression and I found myself suffering in fear of everything new a foreign. The world was a scary place and my life was controlled by fear. I no longer suffer from anxiety, however I know that subconsciously I am still influenced by an innate instinct to resist change and grow into the person that I am capable of being. Thanks to you I now understand the message that my angels were relaying. I also began seeing 7:11 and 11:17 which is also reassuring.

   I wanted to also run something else past you. My name is Adam, DOB 7/11/74 and my fiancé’s name is Evangeline (Ev-angel-ine). Eve was born on the 11/1/75. She also see’s the 1:11, 11:11 and 7:11. I met Eve when I was only 13 years old and something beyond explanation instantly attracted me. We actually didn’t begin a relationship until I was 25, and now we are engaged. She is a special person, warm, loving and angelic. I was wondering, in your opinion is there some significance to our relationship?

   You’re in good company, most of us have an innate instinct to resist change, it’s our subconscious mind maintaining the status quo.

   It sounds as though there is a significance to your relationship indeed. I love it, the numbers in the birth dates, the angel in her name and the unexplainable instant attraction. How beautiful, you may be twin souls!

   Thanks for your comment. From the basic interpretations above I would say it meant “get to what on your life’s purpose without delay and watch your thoughts being careful to think about yoru desires not fears as you will attract your thoughts”.

   If you do not know what your life’s purpose is then it’s time to set about rediscovering what that is. I say rediscover because some part of you knows but it has been forgotten. Let me know if you need help.

    Its Michael again, thanks for your responce to my message dated 28 feb 2008, i dont know my life purpose? but something is trying to tell me something? i see numbers everwhere? for example ive seen 1111 twice today and 111 about 4 times, its not a fluke as im not looking for it, it just appears, i also see 222 333 444 555 777 888 probably 444nd 111 a the most, i have a book on angel numbers but it dosn’t really help me? im going through a difficult time at the moment anyway, if you could advise i would be very grateful.

    okay… here is my story! i have been seeing the numbers 333 since i was 16 like i notice it all the time… also i have had 3 family members die in 3 years in a row! it’s been on my mind because 333 will pop up randomly like a building in a little town i live in it’s numbered 333 in huge numbers! and i had a doctors appointment in room 333 and i randomly looked at the time and it says 333 evey once in a while and i wont think about it till i go to bed and wonder what does that number mean.. help me! please its driving me nuts

    ive have been seeing the numbers 1, 2, 3 in that sequence for years. whether it be 1:23, 10:23, or 11:23. ive seen it in lots of different places but mostly when i look at a clock. its become more frequent in the last few months. everyday, several times a day. ill just look up and there it is. its been creeping me out.

    At anyone time we are nourishing or depleting our soul, there is no in between, it’s one or the other. You are ascending or descending.

    123 are great numbers to see, it’s a sign that you are having progressive thoughts, going in the right direction, ascending etc. This is the case for numbers going up in order like 123, 234, 456 etc.

    Seeing them the other way, eg 654, 321 means that the reverse is true. 123 can also be a sign to simplify your life as you may be getting distracted from what you came here to do.

    Hi, could I ask about the number 654? I see it everywhere all of the time, also I see the number 444 a lot.

    I had a hard time as a teenager, I had severe acne which disconnected my eyes from my face. I remember at one point, my life and perspective about life actually distorted…. I just remember I could hardly bear to look at myself until one day, I found a way to view myself as pretty, but that meant that my surroundings also changed, I didn’t see the physical things around me the way they actually were anymore. My brain, in its state of pain, omitted the details of my surroundings like my eyes avoided the obvious marks on my face. I think, unconsciously, I was trying to hide from the world.

    Now, at this point in my life I realize I have to face myself - I have to look in the mirror and see myself for what I truly am. And in this struggle, I feel I have discovered amazing things. In short, it is very important to be fully self-aware of your face and body….

    You have to be able to see yourself and feel yourself as a physical being in this world. After you are fully aligned with your physical body, and you’ve embraced the points of sight (which are very fine, even gazing with your pupils at slight different angles drastically changes a perspective, but this is utilized through a point of mind that is avoided rather than the eye itself) that most every person in the world avoids or hovers above, can you start seeing things like auras and feeling the energies of trees, water, etc. Also, I believe telepathy (and possibly things I don’t know anything about) is connected to this ‘true sight’….

    It is essential for the physical body has to be fully relaxed, unhindered by fear or worry of criticism from others. Only then can you release and see what is truly before you.

    Also, in my findings, nature, wind and trees are very important. Birds and things like clouds and smoke send messages, if you can see truly. I wish I could accentuate the word true, because there is so much more meaning there through what I’ve experienced in trying to reconnect with my most comfortable, true being.

    I think every person in the world is beautiful, beyond supermodel or even the most beautiful, lush things imaginable… it just takes some work to see it. I now believe in God because of the good (brief) things I’ve felt through attempts to fully release my fears… I never expected when I first began my battle a few years ago to find the good things that I have!

    I just want to add that if you’re reading this and thinking ill of me, I don’t care anymore. Compared to this, it isn’t important to me at all - if we as people are really curious about what’s on the other side of the fence, and if you have the slightest sense of wonder, let’s just put aside our fears and doubts and take a chance.

    I want to add again that after I started trying to face myself, I started seeing the sequences of numbers that are discussed on this forum. I’ve always been interested in the supernatural even as a young child, but at this point in my life I feel a great compelling urge to be active in these pursuits, and would love to really center my focus and do some serious work with others.

    Thanks for commenting. Doreen Virtue has a book which details number 1-999 which would have an exact definition of 654 for you. But in the meantime, you can use the resource above to give you a message combining 6,5 and 4.

    Eg, Release any fears about the physical/material world to God and the angels. Balance your thoughts between the material and spiritual. A positive change is coming up for you. The angels are assisting you with this situation.

    What fears do you have about the physical world? (Money, health, security, work etc) Maybe the solution requires spiritual focus as well as physical.

    You sound as though you have been facing and working through some fears so finding this balance will cause the positive change or allow you to handle the positive change. Either way, the angels are there to help but as we have free will ask them for their help.

    I’m thrilled that you were able to respond so quickly Sorry if I sounded a bit enthusiastic, it’s just since all of this started happening, it’s the only thing (aside from daily obligations, family etc.) that I’ve been able to think about. I’ve tasted a little bit of the possibility, including seeing a shape of light, and briefly seeing this whirling energy around my husbands chest area? It’s so frustrating because I can’t talk to him about it, he’s of such a conventional mindset and I can’t blame him, to be honest! I would love to show him someday what I mean, though.

    I feel like in life, lately, I’ve had a lot of opposition from well-meaning, but critical people, who may not understand me right now…. but at the same time, I can’t find it in my heart to just give it up and live with the eyes and body that I have been…. the state of fear that I’ve become comfortable with and used to just does nothing for my life. I’ve realized that connections with people is just energy, and a lot of that has to do with eye contact.. if I can’t make eye contact, then I am a lonely and off-putting individual to others. I know who I can be now, and we can all only be who we want to be. I wish I didn’t feel so alone some days, I wish they could understand.

    I take the occasional break from my venture in trying to release (which, if you’ve been uptight for years [I'm 23], is a very difficult thing), but I get messages through my surroundings that inspire me to go on. I try to keep in mind that I am not alone.

    The human eye and mind is more amazing than I’ve ever thought it was my entire life, it can see many subtle things (gusts of wind, shape of light, etc!) …. I can’t help but be enthusiastic about knowing that there actually is something more out there to have, and that it really does come from within.

    Hi, this is the first time I have actually looked on the internet about this.. Did not think this happened to more people, I thought I was alone on this matter. For at least 3 years or more, I have noticed the number 911, 611, 411 and multiples of the number 11. But 90% of the time is 911. It is very strange.. This is how it happens, not even thinking about it, I look at my watch and it is 9:11, 6:11, 4:11.. at one of my jobs, I was assigned a vehicle with the number 911 on the license plate. My employee number at my current job has the number 911. Some times I get text messages, and when I look at the time I received them, it is a combination of the number 11 and some other digit. It is very strange.. I am not thinking about it, not looking for it.. it just appears in front of my eyes… A few years ago, I got married.. and started seing that number a lot.. I thought maybe it meant something bad. That is when I started avoiding looking at my watch at specific times, to avoid seeing those numbers. Well, things did not go well, found out a lot of bad things that where going on and lots of lies that my wife was telling me. Anyways.. after all I put up with her, even though I was willing to forget and work things out, she is the one that divorced me. Anyways.. now I am a bit more afraid of that number. I am starting a new relationship, and this number keeps appearing… I don’t want to see it, because I am afraid it is trying to tell me things are not going to work out. So here I am, typed my question on the internet and found your site. I will try and do what you have advised other people, I hope I can discover what this is all about.. I fell like someone is telling me something in a different language but I cant do something about it because I DONT UNDERSTAND IT. Well, will keep you posted if I find out..     Hi D

    Thanks for your comment, I’m glad you found this site useful. It sounds to me like you are avoiding some kind of guidance in case you don’t like what where it guides you.

    If I am right, this is understandable and something we all go through but know that what the angels and the Universe have planed for you is better than anything you can plan for yourself.

    Seeing 11 is a call to some kind of awakening, moving past the illusions that have ran your life so far and to see the real truth of how life works so you can have success in all areas of your life.

    Sometimes the only way the Universe can get our attention is to create situations that force us to awaken. This is not meant to be painful but if all the other more gentle nudges have been ignored, what else can it do? It’s a bit like ignoring a niggling health complaint which becomes a full-blown illness that could have been avoided.

    An example of this in your case is with your ex-wife who decided to leave you in the end despite you “putting up with her”. This was clearly supposed to happen, so even though you chose not to do, what I suspect deep down, you knew would be best, the decision was made for you.

    The number 11 is nothing to fear, it’s actually a VERY good thing. It is fear that is blinding you from what you are being called to do and whatever you are being called to do will be the source of your greatest joy. Now you are in a new relationship and the number is there again, there is something you need to address personally. The numbers do not mean your relationship will not work out but are more about how you are and who you are in relationships.

    My intuition tells me that it is a good time for self-discovery for you. Various universal laws including the law of attraction state that we attract situations and circumstances to us subconsciously through our belief system. We get what we expect. Our external world is a reflection of our internal world. You are the creator of your world and creating the relationships you are having, I think the numbers are more about changing the relationships you create.

    You can however change what you are attracting. If you want to experience something different internal changes would need to be made. If you want this relationship or future relationships to work I highly recommend doing the inner work, you will benefit more than it is possible for you to envisage right now.

    11 is a message to watch your thoughts and to focus more on your desires not your fears as whatever you focus on will manifest. 9 is getting to work on your life purpose.

    Either way, there is nothing to fear and everything to gain by seeing these numbers. I can help you identify and live your life purpose and get more clarity about the messages you are receiving, if you want to work on this contact me as you are the type of client I work with.

    it’s been a year since i started seeing multiple numbers. It was only yesterday that I thought of looking it up on the net. I thought it was just me.. I’m surprised that a lot of people have had the same experience. I’ve been reading other 1111 posts and it seemed that most of them were in 2004.. Was so glad to see this site with new posts. ANother sight called what we have “apophenia”, but i just refuse the idea that we are just “feeding” these things to ourselves. I believe that there’s somthing more to this than random numbers. I

    I begu seeing these numbers when I was under a lot of pressure and very depressed, but somehow because of these numbers, i knew that everything will be alright. I’d like to know more about other readers’ stories. Please share.

    At least you now know you are not alone, there are loads of us! The more I speak to people about it the more they share their “recurring numbers” with me.

    You are right though, the numbers are comforting, almost as if the angels are saying “we are still here supporting you” even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time.

    They are a call to awaken which is why you became aware of them when you were depressed. Depression offers a very low vibration, completely out of alignment with who you really are (a joyful and prosperous being), but also offers us the opportunity to make changes for the better that you probably wouldn’t make it you weren’t feeling so uncomfortable with your current situation.

    I see the nunber 11 everywhere. It’s been happeniong for a year. For the most part I’ve tried to keep it secret…but it scares me. I feel like there’s something I’m suppose to know, or there’s someone trying to get to me and there just out of reach. The number 11 is haunting me. I see it almost every hour on the clock. Like i’ll see 3:11, 5:11, 8:11, and so on. i see it in birthdays, random signs, Tv and books. before that strangly enough 11 was always my lucky number. I was also born on the 11th. I feel as if it is a sign that I am missing sight of.

    It sounds like you have a lot of fear surrounding the regular occurence of these numbers in your life and fearfully is just one way of looking at it.

    It’s because it is unknown you are frightened but there’s nothing to fear and everything to gain. You are being called to awaken. Maybe your life isn’t totally fulfilled right now. If it isn’t, then I would say you are being told to wake up to the fact that your thinking is creating the unfulfillment and a change of mindset will positively transform your world.

    Seeing as you are frightened, I would guess that you have a busy mind that is constantly worrying, panicking anticipating, dreading etc. This way of thinking is literally squeezing the joy out of your life.

    Ever since the first time i started thinking of everything in 2’s, almost 2 years to this day, I just knew this was a higher power trying to reach me. Without even trying, my eyes seem to be drawn to # 2. when I’m not seeing 2’s or things that have doubled, my mind reassures me that I was born the 2nd day in july, or that i have been to 22 different states, 2 oceans or that i have 2 dads. I always seem to have 2 of about everything… those things seem less significant than constantly seeing 2….. 2222222222222222222222222222222.. my whole life, past and present, seem to revolve around 2. What makes this even more astounding, is that I was right all along about who was communicating with me. One question brought me straight to your website… YATZEE!! I’ve also started seeing 3’s and 4’s. I saw a license plate 2 days ago that read SEE 5. It seems we’re moving up in sequence. when this all started, i would see #’s ranging from 1 to 7. so i jotted down the alphebet and came up with a message based on seeing #’s 1 thru 7.. this is what i came up with.
    B.L.E.V. (believe). then a short time later, the neighbors (very religious family) had hung up christmas lights in their yard that spelled out
    BELIEVE for all passing traffic to see…. I could go on, but you’ll have to continue reading about my experiences, as well as dealing with depression, suicide and addiction in my upcoming book.

    i too have been seeing the number 9:11 mostly when i look at the time. sometimes i look at the time to witness it right at the moment it changes to 9:11. I am at work and a woman’s charge came up to 9.11 and first thing she said was she’s been seeing that number everywhere. and i told her i have the same situation and she started freaking out lol. but she told me she looked it up online and there are some explanations to it thats why i bumped into this site cus i was searching around. 2yrs ago i used to always see the same time and date particularly on my watch. the date was october 30, the time was 10:38 . no matter how many times i set the clock to the correct time it wud always be exactly on that date and time. exact numbers. and exact seconds which was 58. it was goin on for almost a year. now the freaky part. i was hospitalize 10:38, on october the 30th and my room number was the seconds on my watch …58. so i hope this isnt another on like that.

    I’d say 9.11 is about awakening to your life purpose. We all have a purpose for being here and you will feel fulfillment in relation to how much you are living on purpose. Do you know your purpose?

    Also, regarding the numbers you were seeing 2 years ago and then your hospitalisation, this may not have been a bad thing. We often think of hospitals and illness as bad but they are just things, it’s our meaning that labels them good or bad. There is always an opportunity in every challenge, can you think back and see what yours was?

    If my Dad didn’t get ill I wouldn’t have this blog and you wouldn’t have been able to reply to this post!

    For years I have been associated with the numbers 11 17, which is also my birthdate. I see them primarily as time, it’s like something will catch my eye as I walk past or through a room and am drawn to look at the clock which reads 11:17, but also have situations like hotel room numbers being 117, I just read a story last week about a famous assassination that occurred at 11:17a, etc.. About 2 yrs ago I finally told my husband this was happening all the time, now he tends to point it out to me and thinks its really freaky. The first couple years it started happening I was so scared every year for my birthday to come thinking someting bad was gonna happen. What do these numbers mean for me?

    There’s definitely nothing to be scared of but I would suggest doing a little work on understanding the message you are being given.

    The 7 suggests you are on the right path and the 11 to watch your thoughts, I’m guessing it’s your fear-based thoughts the angels want you to watch as their energy is one of pure love, the opposite to fear.

    Im so happy I followed the signs n ended up on this page. It has filled me with hope.

    I’ve always been a confident person but the last couple of years and especially the last couple of months have been tough and slowly chipping away at my confidence. the last couple of days, for the first time, ive really been thinking that im worthless and that I wont amount to anything! at the same time I noticed Ive been seeing the number 11 everywhere! Ive always been spiritually inclined and I do try to reach out to angels around me so today at an all-time low I saw again the time on the clock being 1.11 it became clear to me that I was being sent a sign of somesort.

    Searching the internet I have found this.

    the past almost 2 months now I have been seeing the number 11 on the clock weather it be 2:11 or whatever time it is. Ive been really worried about my grandma who is dying and at the begining of the year my brother gets deployed to Afghanastan. I know the basic meaning of 11 is Watch your thoughts and only think about your desires instead of your fears, as you will attract what you’re thinking about, but its really hard for me to think of anything other then fear right now and i really need help trying to figure that out. If you could help me in some way i would be so grateful. Also i feel as if the number 11 means something else in my case, but i could be wrong. Please help me.

    very grateful your posting this because i was very lost…and i finally understand what everything means but i would like to make it more clear for myself and i would really appreciate it if you’d help me..okay i started looking at 911 first and from there it started escalating to 611 211 311 basically seen every single hr of the clock with 11 minutes(X:11) what does this mean..in general seeing the number eleven tells me that i have to let go of my fears and focus on my desires????

    Also i have been seeing on the clock already 4 times 7:27 and thats my B-day, what do you think this means?? because im taking it as, somethings going to happen on my b-day?? hoping its something good and not bad…

    i feel very blessed for angels trying to tell me something very grateful and thankful that they have acknowledge me and help me,and for this purpose im trying to have a better understanding because i want to listen and also try to act upon what there saying to me..thank you please reply

    I see the numbers 321 everywhere, in that sequince. I seem to look at the clock everyday at that time, I see it on receipts, on city buses.. just about everywhere. It is also my moms birthday ( March 21st) But I dont know if that has any significance. I am convinced this means something. If you know anything about this that would be awesome.

    Around 5 years ago I have started to notice the number 24! I see this number at least twice a day even more. When I look at the clock its always 24 past the hour. I was born on the 24th and would like to know what this means. I have a feeling that it is something bad thats going to happen to when i turn 24?
